Dusted off the freshwater kit and went pond hopping with my buddy Brian. It took a few re-ties to figure what they wanted…but once we dialed em in we got some biters. Landed a few chunks and kooked a really good one.

Got out with my Dad & Eric Neiman for a look around the peninsula and beyond. We worked from PV back to the Wall and inside/outside of HH for 6 fish all day. I racked up a Trifecta on the crank, but the 52-54 degree water and some residual swell made for a tough overall bite.  Always a fun time on the water with my Pops!  

040612 - Local LurkingGot on the water with Larry Posod of Team Fishtrax Fri night. The 53 degree water had the fish hunkered down, but we managed to get a few. This girl had a straight Black 3/4oz WAR Baits jig with a matching Berkley Havoc Craw for a midnight snack.

Reynolds just returned from the Inside Sportfishing / Shimano 10 day trip to Panama aboard the Intrepid.  When he got some free time from filming for ISF he took the kayak out to explore the island.  Here is a quick glimpse of what he got into…

033112 - SWBA Rd. 2 - “Border Town Brawl” - SD Bay62nd Place / 2.34.lb bag weight…BRUTAL. We caught 30 fish throughout the day, but we just couldn’t shake the 10 -12.5” fish. In hindsight there is a lot of coulda, shoulda, woulda, but I guessthat’s the way the cookie crumbles. We got nothing to lose from here on out…stay motivated / stay stoked! Thank you to Abu Garcia, Spiderwire, Performance Tackle, War Baits, Island Plastic Swimbaits, and Gost Brand Clothing for all your support.

Jimmy Decker, WAR founder Afran Abutin, and Inside Sportfishing’s Justin Reynolds for the Berkley All Things SW Bass Seminar. We had over 80+ anglers in attendance as we discussed Saltwater Bass fishing techniques that we utilize for hunting trophy bass. Thanks to all that attended!
