‎2.11.12 - SWBA Rd. 1 - NPHWe struggled throughout the day working hard for 2 keepers. Our bag went 2.41lbs and a 34th place finish in the standings. 1.7.12 - 1.8.12 The 2012 Offshore Challenge is a wrap! FDBU finished in 10th overall with 36.65lbs for 2 days of fishing. Day 1 was tremendously humbling when we brought in 10.97lbs, but we worked hard to make up for it on Day 2 with our biggest Offshore Challenge bag to date with 25.59lbs. Big thanks to the SWBA for holding our favorite event and to our sponsors: Abu Garcia, Performance Tackle, Warbaits & Island Plastic Swimbaits for all their support. 01.03.12 Got out to the Wall with Jin Kang on his 1650 Monark to check out the bite. We found 58 degree water and a surging West swell on the outside wall. Ended the night with 20 fish with the biggest going 4.5lbs. Texas Rigged Flukes & 1.5oz WAR Slayer Jigs in “SHADOW” & “DARK DAYZ” got the bites.

Got out with my Dad for a Christmas Eve local session and we found some BITERS! Fish were tight to the beach, “right where they should be”. Wind & Grind style fishing. Biggest went 8+ with a 6, 4s and more mixed in = 25lbs by 11am. Happy Holidays!

11.09.11 - Full Moon

Matt battled 2+ hours of LA rush hour traffic to meet up with Tom Nitahara and take advantage of the Full Moon conditions. We found a good bite that went on to the early AM. Tommy did well on misc Berkley Gulp and Matt fished <IP>< Plastics & Big Hammer Sledge Hammers in Toast & Red Calico Hunter matched up on 3/4 - 1oz War Baits Slayer Heads in Burnt & Dark Dayz. Matt beat his previous PB Calico of 8.80lbs with a 25+ inch 9.25 Sand Bass. Its always a good time with Tommy on his rad Ranger Chief 380.  Stay stoked!

10.29.11 - SCI Halloween Weekend

Halloween weekend greeted us with ideal weather conditions and an island without any closures. Larry Possod joined us for some Fall fishing at our favorite island. Each of us managed 5 - 7lb fish, but Randy was on FIRE from start to finish with some true giants. Glassy seas spoiled us with a WOT channel crossing back to LB in 100 minutes. This was a trip for the books.
