033112 - SWBA Rd. 2 - “Border Town Brawl” - SD Bay62nd Place / 2.34.lb bag weight…BRUTAL. We caught 30 fish throughout the day, but we just couldn’t shake the 10 -12.5” fish. In hindsight there is a lot of coulda, shoulda, woulda, but I guessthat’s the way the cookie crumbles. We got nothing to lose from here on out…stay motivated / stay stoked! Thank you to Abu Garcia, Spiderwire, Performance Tackle, War Baits, Island Plastic Swimbaits, and Gost Brand Clothing for all your support.

We have our work cutout for us, but we’re looking forward to the rest of the 2012 SWBA Series. 1.7.12 - 1.8.12 The 2012 Offshore Challenge is a wrap! FDBU finished in 10th overall with 36.65lbs for 2 days of fishing. Day 1 was tremendously humbling when we brought in 10.97lbs, but we worked hard to make up for it on Day 2 with our biggest Offshore Challenge bag to date with 25.59lbs. FDBU places 1st in field of 60 boats for Round 5 of the 2011 SWBA Series with 35.68lbs of Calico Bass. This bag weight shatters the previous SWBA all time record of 31.77lbs. Prototype 8/0 hook War Baits Slayer Heads in Burnt matched with Big Hammer Sledgehammers in Toast & Red Calico Hunter got the bites.
